Some general info on the suburb of Paddington
A lot in Paddington has changed over the years. Back in the 50s, it was considered a slum area, crowded with houses and narrow streets. You will find that not only have the establishments changed, but the people too. The locals of Paddington are a mixture of working individuals and people who are so obviously born with money, they would make you think that their pet dogs have their own snobbish middle names.
There are also a lot of great places for grocery shopping, Thomas Dux and Bondi Junction are just a couple of steps away. If you are looking for more, you can check out the city just nearby, and the Paddington Markets on Oxford Street. Paddington also has plenty of bus routes to the city, and even out to the nearby beaches in Bondi and Bronte. There is a wide variety of housing options, from 1820s mansions to Victorian terrace houses. They still have those classic narrow halls, beautiful architecture, and stairs that would reach until fourth floor. Paddington is a place filled with great cafés and fabulous shopping centers. Its narrow streets lined with an amazing shopping and food district is enough to attract many new people.
