The Department of Health has released a prompt for Home Care recipients to be assisted in using their package to include technology to help alleviate social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Providers can support HCP consumers to use their package to access personal monitoring services to keep them safe at home.
HCP consumers can also use their package for digital technology and video conferencing equipment to stay connected with family, friends and their community. Package funds can also be used for help in setting up and learning how to use the technology.
