Lifeview Argyle Court
A boutique and relaxed home, Argyle Court offers living in three small neighbourhoods, each with its own kitchenette and dining area. The home also features private, secure outdoor courtyards and gardens where residents can sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air. Residents also enjoy chatting in the living room or reading a book from the library in the coffee lounge. Argyle Court's Garden of Life features raised garden beds, a golf putting green, a children's play area, walking track and sensory garden.
All rooms are single and well-appointed with new en suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs with Foxtel, built in wardrobes with a lockable cupboard, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi and hydronic heating. Residents are encouraged to add personal touches with mementos, photos or furnishings.
Multi-skilled staff (housemates), work with the same group of residents, all the time, enabling them to spend more meaningful time within their household, creating better continuity of care and building on already established relationships. The home does not employ casual or agency staff, and has a focus on maintaining resident independence and choice.
There is a 7-day per week lifestyle program that is varied and includes exercise programs, resident driven activities, special themed events, Happy Hours, weekly outings and special interest groups such as arts, gardening and cooking. The home hosts its own art exhibition each year and residents regularly appear on The Project, and other television and radio shows. Our Planting with a Purpose gardening program is very popular and sees residents working with the Chefs and gardening team to grow produce for the kitchens.
Physiotherapy is available on-site and visiting professional services include dentists, podiatrists, dietitians, hairdressers, beauticians, a choice of doctors and ministers of religion. An on-site pharmacist ensures medications are always the right mix for each resident and the local newsagency provides a newspaper and magazine delivery service.
The home is Rainbow Tick accredited and resident pets are welcome.
