Residential aged care residents and workers are among the first people in Australia to be offered a COVID-19 vaccine.

The government has released information to assist residential aged care providers prepare for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

It covers:

• Preparing your facility, workers and residents for vaccination day
• Obtaining and recording resident consent
• Monitoring and reporting adverse events
