When complete, this new home will cater to 144 residents each with their own private bedroom and ensuite. It will also include a Memory Support Unit that will cater for 18 residents who are living with dementia and require a more secure environment. The architect designed home has been created to nurture a sense of community and embrace indoor and outdoor living. The beautiful single bedrooms have large windows to let in the light and on the ground floor rooms will have doors that open to a stunning landscaped courtyard. Residents will be able to grow their own vegetables and herbs in the kitchen garden located in the courtyard.

Each bedroom will have its own climate controlled, reverse cycle air-conditioning unit for the resident to ensure their room is at the temperature they require. Within the home there will be a chapel with a pastoral care advisor on site. Each wing contains warm and inviting lounge and dining areas, alongside a well-appointed activities area. The main entry of the home will house a reception area, café, physiotherapy rooms, where our physiotherapists can tailor individual care plans for residents and consulting rooms, for our Allied Health team.

Our care and support are provided by qualified, highly trained and skilled staff. Our registered nurses are trained to provide wound care, medication monitoring, palliative care as well as general nursing care. We work closely with general practitioners, geriatricians, allied health practitioners, dentists and pharmacy staff to ensure a wholistic approach to care. Holy Spirit will offer comfort and security, 24-hour, seven days a week care from a multidisciplinary care team.
