Nestled in parkland and conveniently located in the Sutherland Shire suburb of Miranda, IBIS Care Miranda (previously known as Big Sister Hostel) provides a caring, warm and engaging environment.

You will be cared for by our wonderful staff, be served home style, nutritious meals, while participating in our lively social and recreational activities. Our homelike atmosphere is appreciated by all our residents, helping to facilitate a smooth transition from the family home.
IBIS Care Miranda is split into 2 sections, an older-style two storey building, and a single level section. The two sections are connected via an enclosed walkway. The rooms are located on either side of the corridors, with internal courtyards and windows allowing for natural light into each of the rooms. The wing at the front has a dining room, lounge room and administration area.
IBIS Care Miranda currently has 76 Low Care Beds (with ageing in place available to all residents), and has a wide range of accommodation options - 25 large single occupancy rooms with en-suite; and 51 single occupancy rooms with a shared bathroom.

Rooms and pricing
Residential accommodation create their fees based on a RAD (Refundable Accommodation Deposit) and a daily rate. Many facilities will negotiate these fees. Use the calculator below to see how a lower RAD can be offset by a highly daily rate
