With great staffing ratios and registered nurses on sight 24/7, our highly qualified staff take the time to deliver the best of care to 90 residents from a low-care level right through to palliative care.
The modern and contemporary design of our home encourages residents, families and friends to enjoy views of the beautiful surrounding valley and its wildlife. A large courtyard garden and BBQ area is easily accessible alongside indoor gardens and open lounge areas. These interactive spaces are engrossed with activities, music therapy, tea & coffee facilities, concerts and community events for everyone to enjoy.
We offer a range of services to accommodate a convenient lifestyle. Hairdressing, Laundry, Physiotherapy and other health services are also accessible. Brookview provides delicious and nutritious meals that are prepared on-site every day and consulted by a dietician.
Residents can relax and retreat in the privacy of their own rooms for some down-time. All rooms are private with an ensuite, consisting of a large widow with a lovely view. A built-in wardrobe, bedside drawer, smart TV, adjustable bed, armchair and heating/cooling system are amenities that Brookview provide to each resident.
As part of a profit for purpose organization with more than 75 years of experience in caring for the elderly, most of the rooms at Brookview are concessional. Meaning we have been able to give preference to DHHS Public and Community Housing residents and government funded clients that have been at a disadvantage.
Our Chaplain, Lifestyle and Volunteering team are all an essential part of the wellbeing and support of our strong multicultural community that values every person. Together with our Clinical and Administration team we look forward to providing the best of care to those in need and in all stages of their lives every day.
In July 2023 we implemented a new model of care. Our Living Well Together model is an evidence-based approach inspired by Montessori principles, which prioritise personalised engagement, independence and meaningful activities tailored to Residents individual needs and preferences.
Here are some key aspects of the new model of care that you can look forward to:
Personalised engagement: We will focus on understanding Residents unique interests, abilities, and goals. This means that activities, programs and support services will be tailored specifically and, helping them stay engaged and fulfilled.
Independence and choice: We value Residents autonomy and want to empower them to make decisions about their life. With this new model, resident will have more opportunities to exercise choice and control over their routines, activities and care options.
Meaningful activities: Our goal is to provide activities that are not only enjoyable but also purposeful. Whether it's hobbies, crafts, discussions or other pursuits, we want to ensure that every activity adds value to their day and promotes a sense of fulfillment.
