In 1945, the original homestead at Baptcare Strathalan Community was built to provide aged care services to Macleod and its surrounds. This marked the beginning of our not-for-profit organisation, which was borne out of a desire to care for people
Baptcare Strathalan Community - Macleod
Baptcare Strathalan is a fully re developed facility since mid 2016. It has a focus on contemporary comfortable living spaces with the communal and rooms designed to absorb an abundance of natural lighting. Landscaped coutyards are connected to the main building for easy access for residents and winter gardens providing stunning retreats in any weather. Our may lounge areas are spacious and fitted with gas fireplaces for cosiness in winter.
Although our facilities are state of the art, our extra focus on personalised care needs is what we are most well-known for throughout the community. Our generous staff to resident ratios ensure everyone receives the best of care.
Other features of the facility include centralised nurse stations on all levels, private ensuite bathrooms with nurse call buttons and flat screen smart tvs in all rooms (Foxtel available), comfortable Hi-Lo beds and individually controlled air condition in all rooms.
