Martin Luther Homes Boronia Inc (MLH) is a not-for-profit retirement living and residential aged care provider in Melbourne’s outer east. We are located on a magnificent 12-acre property at the foothills of Mount Dandenong and have been a local aged care provider since the 1950s.
Throughout the decades, we have always stayed true to the vision of our founding fathers, who had a clear focus in the individual in mind, while simultaneously moving with the times. Therefore, we have also expanded our focus and community approach to seniors with a CALD background.
This diversification is not only reflected in the multicultural makeup of our residents but also our staff. Our last staff survey has shown that our 160 staff speak 35 different languages.
We are excited about the future of aged care in Australia and we are confident that our long history of forward thinking and innovation will serve us well in years to come.
Martin Luther Homes is proud to be one of the few providers in Victoria offering the Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP) —a highly specialised care program designed to support individuals living with very severe dementia, particularly when behaviours are complex and difficult to manage in other care settings.
We will also increase our focus on our flagship care design, the Care Apartment©.
In modern apartments of approx. 80m², we offer a unique service that provides levels of care tailored to the individual, ranging from a near independent lifestyle to dementia specific care.
