Whittlesea Lodge is a newly refurbished Aged Care Home that encompasses Elegance, Quality and Functionality. The leisurely atmosphere is complimented by our spacious building, excellent interior design, multiple common areas and relaxing courtyard.

Whittlesea Lodge is committed to providing quality aged care, which consistently meets individual needs and expectations within a caring and compassionate environment. Privacy and dignity is provided at all times, with clean, secure and homelike surroundings. Residents are encouraged to pursue their interests, acquire new ones and to participate in a variety of experiences that contribute to their sense of enjoyment and self esteem.
Whittlesea Lodge strives to be recognised as an excellent aged care facility by ensuring staff are considerate and caring, appropriately trained, work as a team who genuinely enjoy interacting with our residents to the best of their ability.
Our staff
The staff and management of Whittlesea Lodge direct their efforts towards making the facility an open and friendly environment, where residents, their relatives and visitors are made to feel that they belong, their opinion is worth listening to and each person is as important as the next.

Personal Care - Whittlesea Lodge provides a range of skilled Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Workers committed to assist residents with their activities of daily living.
Medical Care & Other Allied health Professionals - Whittlesea Lodge has visiting Local MedicalPractitioners, Physiotherapists and Podiatrist.
Pharmacy - All medication and treatments are ordered through Wandong Pharmacy who is conscious about supplying the most cost-effective choice of medications.
Hairdresser – Our hairdresser is available fortnightly in our salon.
Newspaper & Magazine Delivery Newspapers and magazines can be organized and delivered to suit resident’s preference.
Library – To complement our small library collection, we have a visiting mobile library that visits monthly.
Laundry – A commercial laundry operates at Whittlesea Lodge, with labelling of clothes service available.
Meals
Fresh, wholesome meals are cooked on site by our Chef. Our Catering staff are well trained in food safetyto ensure highly nutritious meals are prepared for our residents. The Nutritionist approved menu rotates on a four-weekly basis, providing residents with choice and variety.
Resident Lifestyle
With our lifestyle team available daily, our diverse, person focused lifestyle programs are designed in partnership with residents. Activities provided are tailored to meet individual preferences. Relatives and friends also have input into what activities will be planned through our resident/relative meetings.
In addition to our own lifestyle program, we have a number of volunteers and entertainers visit on a regular basis.
Visiting Hours
We encourage relatives and friends to visit as often as they like, for as long as they like, any time they like.
As a result, we do not place time restrictions on visiting hours.
