GLAICA House in Flora Parade, Tuncurry is a 146 bed “Ageing in Place” facility where the care level increases as the resident’s care needs increase. There are two (2) secure dementia units catering for the needs of 45 residents.

Our resident suites are very spacious and have TV, telephone and Nurse Call Facilities. All meals are cooked onsite in our very well serviced and modern kitchen area.
Services and Activities
- General Hostel Rooms have garden views and look out over the surrounding district
- All dining areas are air-conditioned and tables of four are set-up. Family members are also able to be catered for with advance notice.
- Two rooms can be made available as motel suites for relatives/friends who wish to stay on site with meals available.
- Physiotherapy services onsite.
- Entertainment Centre the hub – with word games, singing, carpet bowls, bingo and all sorts of trivia happening.
- Regular outings for coffee and other places of interest.
- Hairdressing salon onsite.
- Regular Church services from various denominations.
- Underground parking for resident cars or mobility scooters.
- BBQ facilities which are freely available for use by residents and their families.
- “The Little Shop” for residents to purchase small personal items and sweets & treats (open every Monday) as well as a shop trolley that visits each suite every Wednesday.
- A number of outdoor areas with pathways and seats along with shade sails to enable residents and families some quiet time outdoors.

Rooms and pricing
